About this PayStaff service
The only official domain for this service is paystaff.ca. PayStaff is a Canadian payroll software project operated from Edmonton, Alberta.
What PayStaff does
PayStaff prepares payroll calculations and workspaces for the employer to review and approve. PayStaff is not a Government of Canada or Canada Revenue Agency website. The service does not currently make bank payments, remittances, or government filings for the employer.
How to recognize a safe page
- The address must be paystaff.ca or a company subdomain ending exactly in .paystaff.ca.
- PayStaff never asks for your bank, CRA, Revenu Québec, or Service Canada password.
- PayStaff does not distribute programs, browser extensions, or apps from its pages.
- An authenticator app should come only from your phone’s official app store.
Controlled testing
The public demo is available without an account. Registration is for controlled testing. Development mode may allow password sign-in without MFA; MFA will be required in working mode. The service is not yet open for real payroll data, SINs or employee documents.
Support contact details and reviewed service and privacy documents still need to be finalized before real-customer launch. The demo requires no contract acceptance and does not start a subscription.
